Life is short & none of us receives a two-way ticket – it’s true! None of us…
Welcome to All Things Tiny & Mighty. I’m a mother, wife, musician, college professor, part-time insurance career woman, and admitted HSP (highly sensitive person) who aspires to write about things that matter to my authentic heart and mind. If I can bring you an “aha!” moment or two – that would be awesome.
I became a mother late in life – how late you say? Late, people. Late. My first bundle of joy arrived when I was 39; my second when I was 41. I always knew I wanted to be a mother, so imagine my surprise when I realized just how FREAKING HARD being a new mother is, no matter what age you are when this miracle appears! (And, no matter HOW or at what age the miracle is when he/she appears through adoption, foster parenting, or step-parenting.) I’m stumbling gracefully through this journey along with a super supportive husband who also happens to be a cool father to our two little people.
